I would keep the carpet also. I like the sound barrier that carpet adds along with comfort.

I plan to do the conversion on my Miata also when I find time... I picked up a dash from a 92 SE I believe earlier this summer. It came with the tombstone but no hood. Will my current 94 hood fit?...
Yeah they're the newest generation 15x8 bronze finish but look gold. I get a lot of compliments on how well they look against the tan interior.

225/45/15 Hankooks like Greasemonkey2000. Front n back. Solid tire good tread design for the random Florida rain. They're availability is hit n miss sometimes but how many miles do you really plan to...
Its kind of interesting that you say that. Yesterday I was doing a random Google search with Miata in the search bar and came across another forum where these s2000 guys where dogging Miatas......
My wife went to visit her sister in Sydney a few years back n was saying that people there don't even touch their cell phones while they're driving because of how strict the cops are just made me...
Very nice. That's the perfect size imo. Can't wait to see them on!
Phat, so you were planning g on putting on the BBS's then found these beautiful SSR's? What dimensions are the SSR's?
The gold will look sweet on the black LE!
I know... And you're probably right but sometimes, while driving a beautiful road-hugging roadster you just want to ignore the brake and let it roll! I agree that driving on public roads is a great...
Sounds like a lot of fun. I ought to do the same with mine. Take it out and just devour a few unsuspecting intersections.
I've been remodeling my house for about the last 3 months getting it ready...
Lookin really good! Be patient, fiberglass parts always take some extra care to install properly.
Nice. I can't wait to see it on!
I was wondering the same thing but I'm guessing they are identical in function.
Wow. That is totally cool! I had no idea the Miata is such a worldwide phenomenon! My wife wants to visit Italy and now we both have no excuse to not go. Italy here we come!
Is it just me or are your newly painted panels the wrong color? Looks a bit metallic.
Great build btw, definitely moving quickly!
Steel clip nut would work but you would need to cut a small gash to insert it.

Get a bolt extractor kit from a local auto parts supplier.

After you get the broken bolt out tap the hole- re-thread it.
Do it right, you won't regret it.
You dog!!! :winky:
That looks great! What color did you choose? Is it a solid or metallic?
Those TSI's look sweet! Nice work.
Oh my what a beauty!
The pictures is all I/we have to go off of and indeed there are some nice parts in his collection. Myth.. Legend.. I dunno about that!
I think everyone is waiting for you to sell car parts... Out of your stash!
I had a set that I sold on CL for $280... They were in similar condition but had a little better tires. Craigslist is a tough crowd... if you can get close to $300 you're in good shape.
On second...
