I realized I hadn't been on here in a while, so I checked to see where I left off... since the last update, I've picked up a hardtop from a buddy that was initially plastidip'd black. I removed the...
Thanks guys!
They're RKR's 15x9 et0. If I keep the car, I would like to get actual Wats one day… probably polished though.
A couple pics from a car show tonight.

I like to think mine is retro.

Too big? Looks like they fit just fine. The angle of the seat looks questionable in the third picture though.
Looking good! Your car was a big inspiration for me to go the flared route. Ethaniscool (from CR) took this photo at MATG.

Thanks Vegard! I went back and forth on my wheel selection because of your car
Good to see you back! My grandfather was also in the Navy. While I didn't carry on his history towards my car, I did thru the signs/woodworking that I do (as that's what he did upon retirement). Very...
Sorry, I didn't see your post until now. For those that may not have seen in the other thread… yes, they got painted. Well, sort of.
I finally (temporarily) painted my flares over the weekend....
Thanks Anthony! Haha, well I am glad to be back. If you're going to MATG this week you can see it there :D
Rattle-canned my flares today for the time being. It looks much better in pictures than in person  I don't know when I'll get around to having them professionally done, and I didn't want to...
Planning to paint the flares tomorrow if the weather holds out.

I'll be there. We've got a cabin again this year (mostly people from CR, idk if they're on here) but everyone is cool.
No worries! That color will probably look good, I just loved the red/black/silver combo myself. I'm still pretty set on my flares being red I think. I just feel like black or white just looks...
So, just shy of 7 months after purchasing my flares, wheels and tires… we finally installed everything today! Thanks again to blu92 and ChrisJuliano for the help I did some additional trimming today...
Tires impatiently waiting to be mounted...

Thanks, Rock Star! It's 14" in diameter - same as the wheels despite looking smaller than them. I went back and forth on the size many times before settling on 14".
Still haven't installed the flares I've had for 4 months now... here's how the car sits after an overdue wash.

Yeah it takes some getting used to, but I did prefer the lower side bracing on them for getting out compared to a bucket seat. If you do reupholster them, do you think you'll try to have them add...
Haha yeah that's true. Falling into the seat is the easy part… getting out is another thing
Haha yeah, I have to lift my left leg up and over the side of the seat to get out. Almost knee'd myself in the face the first few times getting out
But I guess that's a good excuse to get...
Thanks Anthony! I didn't take any, but I'll be sure to get some photos soon for other people to reference. These seats hug me pretty dang tight, for anyone considering them… I'm 5'8", weigh 155lbs,...
Well the new seat is in! It's a SonicMotor VS3. It's mounted using the side brackets that come with the seat bolted directly to the stock sliders. First impression? It sits way too high compared to...
