I finally found the answer I was looking for, and I'm happy to say it will work (now that I'm not turned around bassackwards with the components). The OE downpipe stays where it is!

I was hoping to be able to post a video; but alas, the kit I got isn't 'plug-and-play' as I expected it to be :(

The stock downpipe won't fit the RS3 mid-pipe and cat. (stock is significantly smaller diameter)

Part # matches their website, so I'm not sure it's that easy; but thanks.

I have a message in to Moss. I'm hoping it's something simple, like they sent the wrong downpipe; but we'll see.

I purchased a Roadster Sport 3 CARB-compliant cat-back kit, assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that it would be 'plug-and-play' on my '01 SE. The downpipe has a 2-hole flange, where the car's manifold...

In my humble opinion, the Miata is a really nice looking car. While this might be an interesting 'project', it turns the Miata into something that looks like a kit car. I can appreciate a nice Cobra...

One step at a time, for clarity. Is it HOT (as in overheating), or is it just 'warmed up' (temperature gauge roughly in the middle)? This is an important point!

Is it me, or does that look just awful? It's very recognizable as a Miata, except with a ton of plastic added to make it look hokey and bulbous. To each his/her own; but... YUK! ;)

Just got my '01 SE. This was shot with a Hero2, suction cup mount to the outside of the windshield. I use Sony Vegas for video edits.
