I'd like to hear how the doors sound when closing first.

A QUALIFIED - YES! First qualification: must have PRHT. MY THIRD Miata, a 2011 NC Touring with PRHT has spoiled me. It rides quite nice, gas mileage running 28-30mpg, and pushing the button to retract the top is way to cool to ignore. First Miata a 1996 NA, having under 20k. Second, a highly modified 1992 with less than 28k on new engine that was set up to race and stayed on street; which has the removable hardtop (still own the car and all it's accessories- a disaster and a LONG story who's moral is NEVER have anyone work on your Miata without checking their credentials FIRST).
MUST SEE AND DRIVE THE NEW ND FIRST . It must at least handle as good as my NC, with comparable or better gas mileage. Back still sucks from pics. THEN WILL NEED TO RESIST THE URGE TO DRIVE THE NC ONTO DEALERS LOT TO TRADE IN FOR THE NEWER MIATA. It's only money- right? davzway
ps: won't be white or red. Now the YELLOW to keep blind ignorant drivers from running into my new car..........................

I really like the tail end. Miata's have always had iconic tail lights Like this set in MoMa)
That mixed with the timelessness of a round tail light, makes this a modern take on the round light. I'm sure it's 10 times better looking in person.
