Is there any interest in the full Vessel drivers? I could see about stocking them if there is.
They are seriously the finest screwdrivers I've ever held. I love my set.
Always...lol...not lost as easily, hence why I don't exactly want to order just the bits...
3 full sets left. Can't believe this batch went away that fast.
Thanks for the quick shipping!
The "large" bits and the option to have both sizes of bit are sold out. There's a handful of the regular size (#0, 1, and 2) left.
I ordered another batch last night. I hope to have them back in stock in a week. I truly didn't expect these to go so quickly. I had 5x the stock as last batch.
Any idea on pricing on the full size...
Not sure how to price them yet.
About tree fiddy.
Hopefully I'm not stepping on any toes but thought it might be useful/interesting info. Tamiya, the Japanese R/C and model company sells JIS profile screwdrivers as their kits use JIS screws (along with most other Japanese made R/C companies). These should be available at better hobby shops that carry Tamiya products. Unfortunately you'll usually only find 2 sizes, I believe the two smallest, because those are the sizes their kits use. Quality is good but nothing special. Pricing however is pretty good.
That being said, I'd be interested in the set of Vessel full drivers.
^ you can also get a full set of drivers from amazon for about $30ish. P0 thru P3. They're Hozan branded. I own a set. The handles are hard plastic and really suck to hold. They've been relegated to trunk toolbox duty. But if you don't have a real JIS driver, they're better than nothing. They WORK a lot better than a Phillips and if you wear gloves, they're not too bad.
The Vessel drivers are FANTASTIC. They're actually nice enough to get excited about while holding them. The dual rubber/plastic handles, the knurled grip, the magnetic tips, and the fact that they BITE the screw. They're phenomenal. I own... a lot of them now. Well worth the money.
I mentioned on m.net that this next one will be my last JIS driver bit group buy. It's just too much work to accept and track 50+ orders for these and then box them all up that night. It's beyond the scope of my little one-man operation. Hopefully, another shop will take on the challenge. Been talking about it behind the scenes already.
It looks like my next shipment will arrive tomorrow afternoon. I'll keep you updated.
Drivers are back in stock! And they came with a few new friends.
JIS Miata Repair Set - $56 + shipping, one set per customer
I'm addicted to my Megadora drivers and had to buy some to put in my store. I put together this set of the most common sizes that Miatas use. I only have ten sets, so I'm limiting it to one set per customer. I'm using my custom order form to sell the driver sets, so you'll have to actually talk to me to get one. Hopefully, the experience isn't too horrible.
I've also got the JIS driver bits back in stock. I was even able to lower the price a tiny bit more on them.
Go to the store and claim your driver sets.
