For those who aren't in the know, what are the differences between the regular OEM mats and these? Do they hold up better to wear?

These floor mats are by far some of the highest quality, custom floor mats available today. KAROism has been around for more than 30 years in Japan, building hand-made floor mats of the highest quality materials found.

Each of their floor mats is crafted from a natural hemp-fiber that is extremely durable and stain resistant. The mats are treated further with some chemical agents that prevent staining of the mat.

Available in Red Sisal (Red/Black Checker), Blue Sisal (Blue/Black Checker), Green Sisal (Green/Black Checker), Grey Sisal (Grey/Black Checker), Orange Sisal (Orange/Black Checker), White Sisal (White/Black Checker), & Yellow Sisal (Yellow/Black Checker).

These are quite possibly the highest-quality, and best looking floor mats I have ever seen for any car. The quality is ridiculously good, and 100% on par with what I would expect for the cost (if you had to buy them new). I have several sets of the OEM Mazda floor mats (both USDM and JDM versions) for my miata, and even some other aftermarket brands like collabo-mat, and the KAROism mats make the others look / feel cheap. The backside of the floor mat is a super thick rubber material, sewn to the top side with a full surround and extra stitching, it has an extra large heel pad (to prevent wear) on the driver side (that is actually bonded AND sewn on) so they won't ever fall off or come unglued. I can't speak enough about the quality, I am that impressed. I got this set used just to see what they are like because I was scared to shell out $300 for new mats, but after seeing the quality of these I am going to buy a new set. I am selling some of my other mats as well, I have like 10 different brands, styles, colors or Mats for Miata, LOL. Yes I am THAT picky!

I plan to order some new ones in black/white, or black/gray later on.

How well do these stick to the floor? I have a major sliding problem with my OE mats.

When you buy them NEW they come with a mounting hook that you Velcro to the floor, however these are "used" mats, and I cannot find the hook, maybe you can buy something like this or make something like it? Also what I have done in the past is use 3M Velcro adhesive strips and attached them to the floor with them. Not like anyone looks under your mats anyhow.
