    OLD Miata Websites

    Here is a list of some miata based websites that used to be cool as hell back in the days. Some of them don't even exist anymore but don't be fooled there were an inspiration and source to very cool parts.

    www.hyperspeed.com = closed
    www.metromotosports.com = closed
    www.brainstormperformance.com = closed
    http://www.rspeed.com = one of the best miata websites that ever existed, they are still open but don't showcase cool miata products like they did in the past.
    www.corksport.com = they are still open but don't showcase cool miata products like they did in the past.

    please free to add more websites.

    ABOUT HYPERSPEED
    It was crazy. It had pictures it had so many cool looking miatas with bodykits and side mirrors. I remember visiting this website to drool about these cars. The owner closed the page right when the internet was getting better, I don't know why.

    About METROMOTORSPORTS
    Whoever didn't know Leni oh man this guy was awesome. His website was a source to very cool parts including rare parts such as the Nielex toggle window switch exclusively sold in the website, now discontinued item. Leni carried so many great looking parts and was the second source to get parts from Japan after Rspeed.

    About BRAINSTORM PERFORMANCE
    Best known for the fixed headlight kit. They sold other great parts in their website, until they merged into miata.org and slowly faded thereafter.

    About RSPEED.
    Joe is the man, Joe and his company Rspeed together with Mariela and Hector used to organize a bunch of miata meets. People from over the place used to travel to Marietta Georgia for their yearly Rspeed meet. Rspeed was the source for Nakamae, KG Works GV Vary and AWD products. He and Peter previous owner of the Blue Potato were an inspiration to the miata community

    About CORKSPORT
    Located in the West coast this company was one of the first to import JDM engines. They also carried very cool products and were a direct vendor to Mazdaspeed parts. I remember looking at some awesome Mazdaspeed products including Mazdapeed front bumper and seats for the NA

    I used to get parts from Corksport when I had my Ford Probes. He used to do it out of his garage.

    Hey Randy, did you any chance keep the pictures of the hyperspeed website? I would like to go back in time to those days, to see pictures of these roadsters. I remember some other companies in Europe like Buette Motorsports with some sick looking parts, Alex Speedworks bought a part from them, he is secretly keeping it in the closet until his roadster is built.

    Adrenaline Racing used to supply lots of cool JDM parts for Miatas. They don't advertise parts sales anymore and they diversified they type of cars they work on.

    Some of the sites can still be viewed as they once were thanks to the internet archive.

    Mroad was a good one from back in the day. I think they sold a few interior parts. I know they did vent rings. Sharka's worn a set forever and Dan gave me his supplier info and allowed me to sell the same vent rings in my store.

    Serious Auto was pretty big. I got my Rota Circuit 8s from them. That's when Rota was unknown and Circuit 8s were the lightweight hotness.

    Performance Buyers Club was another favorite of mine. Tons of neat parts at really good prices. I think they're a repair shop now and not an online retailer.

    Roberts Auto made some neat metal things in the early 2000s. Not sure if they're still around.

    A carbon fiber replica of the Brainstorm headlights is presently sold by another company. Here is the website. http://www.automotivelightstore.com/...dlightkit.aspx
