    Using 5W30 Synthetic

I have just inherited my Dad's 07 and he has always used 5W30 syn in it instead of 5W20... Any comments on this? I read in the manual, for Mexico, they say if 5W20 isn't available, you can use 5W30.. Thanks..

Greetings stewbag. Need some more info on the car, is it stock? Mileage? Please don't hesitate to introduce yourself.

You should be fine with the 5W30. I use Shell Rotella T6 in 5W40 with no issues.
