That's pretty much all of your big projects!
I've got a lot less horsepower - luckily they are Japanese horses - usually in better shape and more motivated.

I hit a tire tread months ago and it blew out my fog light cover. The part is only $6 but shipping was $7! I refused to pay that so when ECS Tuning was doing free shipping I jumped on it. I decided to buy both sides so they would match. I got both parts for less than one would have cost with the insane shipping costs! I also bought new fog lights since the OEM ones were looking old. I bought them used from a guy for a good price! The new ones were yellow and the non-fluted design. Notice how the old one has those lines in it? The new ones don't, and I think it's much nicer! Super easy install, I'm not surprised the cover flew off with how easy it is to remove/replace them.

Here is is the before and after! I think it looks much better!

Today I finally had a day off and decided to install the lowering springs that I bought off of kbcons on the ZHP forum! So glad that I bought them! Car looks so much better now! Doing suspension on this car is incredibly easy! It was so easy to do the rears that I found it comical! Once I did the passenger rear, I decided to time how long it took to do the driverside rear. The wheel was already off and the car was in the air, so I timed it from the moment I cracked the first bolt to the moment I tightened that same bolt with the car still in the air and the wheel off. Total time: 4 minutes and 4 seconds!

Photos look like crap because I uploaded it to photobucket, because I'm currently trying to upload over 600 photos to flickr from the Jzilla event!

I've had a check engine light for a few days and finally got around to fixing it. The culprit was the intake boot.

Nice big hole! This thing was much harder to change than I thought it would be. Overall, it isn't bad, but the hose clamp from the boot to the throttle body is so hard to get to and hardly any room to get to a tool in there!

I have an oil leak and it came down to two possible things. The oil pan or the oil filter housing gasket (OFHG). Today, I confirmed that the oil leak is from the OFHG! I am thrilled to find this out! This will be much much easier to fix! It also probably happened from my Hulk like strength when changing the oil!

    Nice work!

I feel your pain. I'm waiting on the new roof for the house before I can go anywhere with Noir.

4K last month on the heat pump. And now a roof.

    Peace my fellow Miata Nut!

I have the same issue on my wagon. I have the parts to replace the OFHG and a few other items, like the VANOS feed line, but I just haven't found the time to do it. Hoping to get time this autumn with the cooler weather. Also need to swap out the AC idler, which I already have too.

I'll be ordering the OFHG and probably waiting to install it until the week of thanksgiving when I have off from school. Time is hard to come by these days!

It's a $5 part. I guess it happens often. I have to see if there is an extra fix, like adding a bead of sealant with the gasket.

From what I understand, it's a common problem. Should be a pretty easy fix. I'll be looking into it to see if there is anything extra as well!

Yah, a lot of repairs seem hard on BMWs, but I think it's just the nature of the owners.

I finally got around to doing to OFHG with the help of a good friend of mine. He had just done his a week ago, so he knew what he was doing! It was leaking pretty badly and there was oil EVERYWHERE! I tried to clean the engine as best as possible, and will get to the rest of the underside later. We were tired and I couldn't spend all day in his garage cleaning everything!

Overall, it isn't a hard job to do it is just time consuming. Most of the time is spent cleaning everything off since oil manages to go into every nook and cranny! Here is a before and after.

The undertray and the metal brace were covered! I sadly forgot to take after pictures, but they looked almost brand new in comparison.

Cleaning off the underside a bit

And we used just a couple of cans of brake cleaner! haha I feel like these cans only last a few seconds! They run out so quickly!

Now I need to finish cleaning off the underside of the car sometime before school starts back up, but I am much happier now that the leak is fixed!

Haha yeah, Tim works with my dad! And its a GM Ecotoec. I don't think he has a build thread or anything anywhere. He is a member on this forum already, but I'll send him this was to post up about it! I'll also make him come to Miatapalooza!
