The aftermarket in Japan will fix the bumper, my guess is that not only Garage Vary, but some NEW tuners will come onto the Roadster as it looks more aggressive now and has lost its hairdresser rep on this model.

Yes, most likely the Mazdaspeed version will probably be 10 times better than the OEM bumper and so everyone will purchase the Mazdaspeed package option at the dealer. It's all about making profit dude...

I would love to see a Esqueleto/Monocraft (dead?) ND.

Looks great in white. After seeing it in person, the nd is about 125% better looking (especially the front fascia) than in pictures.

Don't look at it as a hideous gap, just a way of letting more air into the engine bay!!!

I thought we wanted low pressure zones and stuff.

Also, for history and knowledge, I noticed this informative post on the Jalopnik page:

"That white ND at the LA Auto Show is actually the same ND that debuted on Sept 3 in Monterey, CA. Yes, back then it was Soul Red. The car was repainted in Crystal White Pearl a few weeks ago in preparation for the LA Auto Show. You'll notice that the hood and trunk releases have been disabled on the white car. There IS a motor under its hood (it's completely drivable) but Mazda doesn't want the hood to open because they didn't repaint the engine bay (or, presumably, the trunk). If you peek down in the crevice along the hood line (maybe use the flashlight feature on your smartphone), you can see some red paint down inside there."
