    M2 1028 gauge review

Several years ago I contacted Adam at Revlimiter.net about making up a set of gauges similar to those that were stock on the M2 Incorporated 1994 M2 1028 roadster. I have an original M2 1028 meter panel that was used for reference, and I sent him multiple gauge images to work from. After a couple of weeks of collaboration, Adam produced a set that is virtually indistinguishable from the OEM M2 Incorporated set. I had some free time to install the gauges and attach the 1028 gauge needles, so I took pictures of them for comparison. Adam’s quality and attention to detail is spot on.

Going back and forth between the two photos is amazing. I didn't realize the match was so exact. Thank you for the review Joel!!!!

speedo and tach needles are off the 1028 meter panel, which are different than any other roadster, except on one Japanese model - SR limited model that used them too (left over M2 1028 stock).

It looks like my temp scale is a little bit lower on the gauge than on the OEM one. That's the difference I noticed.

The SR-Limited was that funky green color one in 1997 right? I think I have the Green Badges from that car.

Yes, very awesome gauges. Super clean and perfect for the person going down the minimalist route. Big thanks to Joel and Adam for making these happen so that I could also enjoy them in my own car. I just need to go back and tear apart my instrument panel to break up the diffuser so that they light up completely at night. Right now you can see how the 8 on the tacho and the 140 on the speedo are a bit too dim. Just been lazy and low on the priority list.

P.S. don't mind the crap camera phone quality. Adam has pics on his website showing how good they look in real life at night.

Cut the backs of the needles off and paint the cut area in satin black and you will have the same needles
