Thread: It's 1,200 miles to NC, it's dark, it's cold, and the heater isn't working. Hit it.

I saw that thing once it was posted before buying my new shell and debated on buying it but by the sounds of it, I was better off not getting it.
The VR MSM at C&C was a different car. That car had 36k miles on it and was in far better condition. The car we went to TX for should have been in such a condition.

The plan for FM's old FM Speed is to sort the problems and go from there. 6ULs are in the car's future, just a matter of him making up his mind about the tires. If we make it out to next months C&C, the car will likely be there barring any unforeseen problems.

The $1,500 MSM, or as we have begun referring to it, the redneck special, is in pretty rough shape. But, it should eventually clean up to be a decent DD. The absolute minimum is being done to restore it to a car we wouldn't be ashamed to be seen in.

Damn. Great story with loads of patience and persistence! Make sure to keep us updated with the progress!
You guys passed right through my area of town going up I-85.
I've got a lot less horsepower - luckily they are Japanese horses - usually in better shape and more motivated.

    GREAT STORY!!!

BTW, with stiff enough springs, no rear sway is needed. I only use a rear sway bar when tracking my car.
