LE leather kit for 1995 Limited Edition Seats

Ok let me start by saying thank you to "Martin" for leading the way on this with his NB recovered seats with LE red leather that he ordered custom made by "www.interior-innovations.com" So I did contact them and sent them my original worn out 1995 Limited Seat covers that I painstakingly removed from the seats to be used as pattern thus getting some discount from the set. Remember to be very patient with the company as the covers are made in Pakistan. It took them 8 months to send me my set. It is also very difficult to contact them by phone. They responded thru email. Anyways if you do order just be patient and you will be rewarded with a beautiful red/maroon LE seat cover. Just like this one..........(initial test fit BTW)

But for a fraction of the price of the stateside company that makes LE cover for this seats. The color of the leather they use is very similar to the OEM. The pics does not do justice. But for the price they can't be beat at least for now.

They look great but 8 months is a long time for seat cover. However I cannot say much as I waited 8 months for my Nakamae seats from japan. And I have ordered plenty more from japan that takes a while.

I had my M seats covered in black leather with perforated leather inserts. Took about a week and cost $600. The rear of the seats was matching black vinyl.

I believe they charges $385 shipped for genuine leather like this one. Mine was discounted due to the seat covers I have to send them for pattern making. This set is full leather including the back and lower sides. The only vinyl is the inside lining. It may take a bit faster now since they already have created a set.

If you're close to Mendocino, CA. I know of a set selling for around $150. Intact foam and perfect for a recovering project.

I went through the pictures in your photobucket links, and saw one of the cars I softly renovated years ago, with the interior picture showing my red seats and mostly red interior. I'm glad you did the homework to get someone else to commit to the '95 M edition patterned seats. Leatherseats.com can provide the same pattern, or with different custom requests, such as perforations, multicolors, different stitching, etc. I hope the company you found is reliable because the cost is roughly 30% considering the amount of leather you describe. Keep us posted as to viability, ok?

I hear that wearing on the seats in a storage room is pretty uncommon though

I understand about the concern but I did check around regarding the reliability of Interior-Innovations prior to sending them the funds and they are registered and had no issues with any of the card services including paypal. They probably can take custom orders i.e perforations, stitching and color choices. The leather they used on my set is definitely a "top-grain" as compare to the one used by leatherseats.com which is a 'full-grain" and thereby more expensive. Even the OEM leather used was top-grain. Had this company base in the US, we will not see prices as low as this. But make no mistake the quality of finish on these sets can't be justified by the pics. I am not taking away the quality of other companies that make our seat covers but their prices are just prohibitive IMO. And in this case l think lesser price does not mean inferior. As to color match with our aging LE cars judge for yourself if their leather is not close enough. The swatch you see is the "ecstacy cobalt red", one that is being used by leatherseat.com
