^ Duggumit Carl, how come we didn't do that while I lived in the "Indian Territories"...

BTW, thanks again for the empty boxes!

I drove my Miata into Downtown Denver, today. December 1st in Colorado, and I can drive the Miata, weird...

2 days ago the butterfly brace was put on, then yesterday I re-routed the brake hard lines some to prevent constant rubbing against said brace, then changed the Transmission fluid(again in 6 monthes) to the famed Motorcraft Unicorn jizz, interestingly I realized that 1. 2 quarts did not completely fill the trans( gladly my brother have another 2 qts left from filling his Gen Coupe, so I am going to put in another bottle until it comes out the fill hole. I remember it also took more than 2 bottle that last time I changed it ) 2. the shifting quality did not improve over and above the Redline MT-90 that was in there, as originally expected, if anything, it got slightly more crunchy. we will see what happens after 100 miles.

I guess the stars just weren't aligned. After this last project deadline and company holiday party it's been like: "OK... I have a lot of free time.. now what?!"

Glad the boxes worked out! Enjoy the Miatarado weather while you can my friend!

I ate my Wheaties and proceeded to snap four 10mm bolts securing the front bumper. Then I put on a fender, removed the bolt remains and temp installed the bumper. While I was up front I removed the power steering line that ran in front of the radiator.

I drove mine today... which I didn't want to keep doing, as it's Winter here in New England, and she should be off the road by now. Unfortunately, my new winter car/Jeep is still not read for the road, as I am going through her, and making sure she'll last a few more years. I just have one more frame repair, then prep and paint.

After replacing the battery, I added 5 gallons of mid grade (87, thats mid grade in the mountains) and went for a spin. Found out that I live less than 8 miles from an awesome canyon road!!! Was having a blast until I got to a section of the road was nicely frozen... Since summer tires and ice don't mix, I had to cut the drive short.

What's their low grade? I bet the Miata would still be fine with it.

Isn't it always like finding some hidden treasure when you discover a good road near home? Good on you to head home to drive it another day!

Today I looked at my Miata sitting in the garage. It is getting way too icy out to not be in the Scoob.

^ Low grade? I honestly don't know. But there was enough ice on the road to make daiquiris and margaritas for everyone!
