    Miatas @ MRLS 2015, October 3 & 4

Plenty of planning time for the out of state folks. Of course it won't be as huge as 2014 but that may be a good thing.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    October 3-4, 2015
Miatas at Mazda Raceway is back!

It only seems like yesterday that we all met to celebrate the 25th Anniversary with a world record gathering of Miatas. What a weekend!

Are you ready to go back?
We’re happy to announce that we have secured October 3-4 for this year. Registration will open on February 15th at 9am PST.

Some highlights to look forward to:
    • An extra intermediate run group to give more people an opportunity to get on track on Saturday
    • Free BBQ as part of early check-in on Friday afternoon at Embassy Suites parking lot as in previous years
    • Parade laps at lunch on both Saturday and Sunday
    • Exhibition race on Sunday
    • The Saturday banquet is back - more details to come
    • We’re working on some other surprises we can’t yet tell you about. But you know we always find something cool to surprise and delight.
We have been able to secure excellent group rates at three main local hotels. It’s the high season for the area, so make your reservations soon. More hotel information - http://www.miatasatmazdaraceway.com/hotel.php

As noted, hot lap registration opens at 9am PST on February 15th. Even with the extra run group on Saturday, we know the spots will sell out very quickly. And a reminder – please make sure to sign up for the group that fits your level of car preparation and driving experience. You can find more details on our hot lap section of the site.

Please watch our dedicated forum on Miata.net (http://forum.miata.net/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=143)and our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/MiatasatMRLS) for other updates and discussions. As last year, the event website (http://www.miatasatmazdaraceway.com/) remains the official source of all information and will also be updated regularly.

    See you in October!

The Miatas at Mazda Raceway Team

I've taken a bit of a break from finishing it (hence no build thread updates) but I've got 8 months, so I'm 99% sure. Plenty of time for some shake down days also.

I'll be at MRLS for the Porsche Rennsport Reunion the weekend before too! Great time for a Cali holiday, hit up Disney or wine country or whatever during the week and 2 great events on back to back weekends.

1 week to go, any one going to be there? I'm debating about going down on Friday, it's only a 1 hour drive but most of the cars there will also be there Saturday?

I should be there along with quite a few of the KINOD/SoCal guys, of course GarageStar will be there too. I think we're leaving here Friday morning, some people leave Saturday and some leave Sunday.

IF everything goes well, I will be there with 949 Racing and 4 cars. Rides will be given in Taxi and the ND (yet to be named?) I am hopeful that I can finish Deviate with the K motor and have it there too. I will be driving my car with the Kinod drive as of this writing. As long as I don't have to work on Deviate on Friday...

Garrett, are you guys planning on making it early enough to go to the BBQ?

Unk, what will you be driving since you sold the NB? I'll find the V8R crew on Saturday for sure if I don't on Friday.

I'm not going to make it to the BBQ, hopefully I'll catch all of you at the track.

You need to stop by the V8Roadsters booth for a peek at his newest wares for NA and NB
