I can’t tell if you’re joking or not. I agree it might be a lifter. But it also sounds like injectors. I suppose the only way to know for sure is to pull the valve cover and perform an inspection and measure the actual clearances. I should probably do that anyways. But given the long list of other things to do and the constant pull to enjoy the car instead of working on it, I’m really dreading doing that job.
