I keep saying I'll take decent pics one day. I have the topgaiters black with red stitching boots so I was looking for pulls I could make to match. I searched high and low for black belts with red stitching. Found this old woman's belt for $7 on eBay. Decent enough...

Finished with some ghetto Lowe's countersunk washers.

Question for those of you who are savvy as to the Japanese manufacturers of fine interior products. I don't know exactly who makes these or if they're DIY but I had Rod place a bid on them anyways and won for ¥5000.

My gut says the blank plates are part of the kg works set and diy or nakamae door straps but I'm not sure. Any input appreciated!

Just finished my Porsche RS style door pull/opener. Need to shorten the strap though.

If Rik hadn't sold his last ones, I would never have done my own version. I really wanted those straps as his car was a huge inspiration to me over the years.

Here's Sharka's door straps. In my store and (almost) always in stock for ordering. Thanks for the link Randy!

None of my passengers ever understand how to close the door when they get in my car. They always pull on the door handle...I bought a nice fancy door pull and they don't understand how to use it?!?

^^^ very original and clever. I guess its a good time to update the thread. I finally went with Retromodern pulls. They still had some Eunos pulls around and I manage to get a set. Unfortunately no lanyard for the time being. They will send me some once they get it. That being said, the solid aluminum pieces are jewel like. Great quality and craftsmanship. It took me a while to find a desirable material for the lanyard pulls and I wanted it in red since it goes with my color scheme. I finally was able to find the perfect fit on a $3 walmart nylon dog collar LOL. It was a PITA to have the final product but Im very happy with it. I have not mounted them yet because I want to do the door panels and window bushings but here are some pics of the final product. I will update the thread later with the pulls installed once Im done with the door panels.
