    Miata Battery suggestion

So it seems my battery is slowly dying so I figured it was a good time to ask you guys what battery you guys are running in your NA. I have a 96 1.8. Thanks!

I've always used a Westco, even with the V8.

I use an Interstate MT-MX-5 battery. A bit pricey. They have the correct post location and vent hoses. Plus they are the right size for the battery box and, the holddown clamps don't need to be re-engineered! I hookup my Battery Tender once in a while to top off the charge. Automobile batteries only seem to last 18-24 months out here in the desert southwest. The heat cooks them.

200cca motorcycle battery. A local guy runs it.

Surprisingly, it can turn the car over.

all I have ever used is a sealed gel type battery from WestCo, they are pricey but last longer, youll need to shop around to find the best price.

This is what I'll be trying this season. Was pointed towards it when I mentioned I needed a new battery. Solid price for something small and lightweight

Same as others I use the Westco. it fits in nice and snug and does the trick. Downside is that when it drains it takes days to charge given its a AGM style battery. Also this means jumping it is rather risky.

I got one of the O'Reilly's AGM Super Start battery a couple months ago. Took about 8 seconds to swap out. Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy.
