    Heater Core for a 94

    What is the deal with the scarcity of heater cores for 94's? The only source seems to be Mazda and apparently they are gold plated... Where has everyone purchased their cores?

    Did you do the dash pull or the cut pipe method? I'm ADD enough, I plan to pull the dash.

    No dash removal required.

    1. Loosen clamps of the heater core hoses in the engine bay.
    2. Remove driver side seat.
    3. Remove Steering Column/dash under cover.
    4. Remove Heater Core cover on the white plastic housing.
    5. Remove all the clamps that holds the two heater core pipes.
    6. Remove the heater pipe that has the rubber hose and clamp.
    6. Slide out your HVAC Heater Core.

    OH wear some knee pads, LOL

    Dealer = $200+
    Amazon = $80+ to $100+ (mostly 1 year warranty I read)
    Autozone = $130 (lifetime warranty, altho' non-transferrable)

    I bet some other auto parts store also carries the NA6.......
