Low Sodium diet - A salt free North Carolina winter route

Here's one route I suggest if you are jonesin' for a good run without getting salt all over your car:

Google Map - Hiddenite, NC to Marion, NC

    On this map:

    A - Hiddenite, NC
B - Linney's Mill with water wheel and cool walking bridge.
C - Moravian Falls - Cascading falls with old water wheel.
D - Tom Dula's (Dooley's) grave. It's above the road in that exact spot.
E - Laura Foster's grave. The woman allegedly killed by Tom Dula.
    F - 181 store - just a good pit stop.
G - Stone Mountain Institute. Very cool old stone school. Go up past the church for a great view.
    H - Sonic Drive-in, Marion.

This should fill your day with interesting sites and amazing roads. You will also see Lake James, Kerr Scott Lake, Table Mountain, another old mill dam, Yadkin River, a really old apple house, orchards, and some pretty sweet views. Enjoy.
