    Tow hook questions

People keep backing into my car where i work. I need to know which towhooks are NASA/scca legal and which brand protrudes the farthest from the bumper so i can try to thwart these terrible parallel parkers.

As long as the ring is 2 inchs is should meet SCCA, and NASA guidelines.

I remember busting my shin on the Carbing Tow hook many times, hurt like crazy, I have since removed it, hahaha. It protudes out of the mouth of the Miata.

There are many options, Carbing, Nielex, Beatrush, etc etc, if you want to see more options there are a bunch of different versions listed on the REV9 page. But most all sponsors of this forum have a version they sell, so shop around and see which one meets your needs.

    here are some photos

PS welcome to the forum, lets see some photos of your miata!

I don't think a tow hook is going to solve the issue. I think the issue is that Miatas are so low to the ground, it's probably hard to judge distance... and texting...

The Ryokyu Rob ones really do not stick out from the car at all.

If you are serious about this, get a Tow hitch setup with a raised hitch ball, or bike rack
