    NC factory mudguards for 2006-2008

Anyone have any experience with oem factory mudguards for NC 2006 - 2008 in body color to match car? The fit does not seem to be very good against the car. If you cut bottom panel of car per directions and then decide you do not like them you are left with a cut out that will show. Am hesitant to proceed with install, so is a body shop. Any one installed these and are you happy with them?

I guess the problem with the mudguards is they will not fit a car with the appearance package, side skirts/bumpers which mine seems to have.

Just installed a set of OEM mud guards on my 2008 MX-5. They fit great. My car does not have the appearance group side skirts. They were bought through eBay from http://www.ebay.com/usr/quirkparts. Front guards came painted Brilliant Black. Rear guards were unpainted black. Had to paint the rear mud guards myself. I understand from Quirkparts that this may be the case for any current OEM mud guard orders. The portion of the lower side skirt panel was pre-marked for the cutout for front mud guards. Probably not visible if the guards had to be removed. Installation was simple. Instructions were adequate.
