I wish! I need to sell BRG225 so I can start spending some money on my '94R! I am pretty stoked to have a clean white/black NA though, for sure. My US-market-diluted-1028 was only $20K less expensive!

If anyone is doing a 1001-themed interior, this should be the correct wheel.

I might be willing to sell my Club NA M2-Inc. horn button if someone buys it. -Matt

That 1023 is amazing!! More digging has turned up nothing. Safe to say it never made production?

The caption says it was a design study, and it seems to also have been known as the Familia Sport 4 (maybe also Super 4, but could be a mistype on the article). It also seems to share a lot with the M2 1005, another Familia based car. Neither appears to have ever made it to production. Could be way off here as well, but it also seems like the 1005 was planned to be Mazda's Group B entry (or at least the homologation base for it), while the 1023 was supposed to be the road going car that you could get number plates for.

Crazy how much M2 designed haha. I thought I knew a decent amount about M2 with just the 1001, 1002, 1006, 1028, and the 1015. But there are way more than just those apparently.

Edit: here's a good list of M2 models with basic descriptions for each in Japanese- https://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/roman_holi.../64221200.html

If anyone has a couple million yen to spare (税込 2,080,000 円) (about $18,000US) there's a pretty nice looking M2-1001 on YJP at the moment.

Looks like the wheel centers are missing, along with the oil filler cap (which you could source a Nielex replacement for), and the steering wheel.
