    I don't believe they're Recaro. I'm pretty sure they're Esqueleto.

The RS-limited ones in Carbon kevlar are the ones I was referring to. But you may be right?

RS Limited Recaros are completely different from M2-1028 buckets.

ultimately, buckets are a pain in the arse, literally, for a road car.

There is a TDR 1001R nose for sale on Yahoo Japan Auctions, and I remembered some pics that I have of the roadster itself. It was produced by D-Technique, and it was their version of what an M2 Incorporated NB would look like. There were two different style front fascia available, and the interior styling was similar to the M2 1001/1028 models. Even though D-Tech is now defunct, some of the parts are still available through Murakami Motors, and probably a few other Japanese vendors.
Although not an M2 roadster, it is still a cool looking interpretation.

TD-1001R is cool but my favorite NB will always be the Autobacs monoCRAFT mm1.

The last I saw, the seller backed out of the Ebay sale. Someone on Mnet actually had the winning bid at $929. Obviously a mistake was made with the listing and no reserve. There is a thread here: http://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread...highlight=1002

That's the problem with eBay Motors vehicle auctions - they're non-binding on both parties (a few other categories are like this as well). It's basically just an advertising service not much different than AutoTrader. This worked to my advantage on one occasion where I was a serious buyer but auctionsniper had a network failure that prevented them from placing a bid for me. I contacted the seller after the auction had ended and offered them more than the winning bid (still less than my maximum bid would have been) and he agreed to sell it to me. And why not? I was local and offering more money than the eBay auction winner and there was nothing in the TOS that required the seller or high bidder honor the auction.

Thank the Makers! Otherwise, I'd have to throw myself off a bridge because I missed buying this Unicorn.

Super comfy if you're 5'2" tall and weigh 125lbs. I've contemplated buying an Esueleto seat and making a "big boy" version because the look is perfect but it's just too big an endeavor for me to attempt.
