Antifreeze in oil. I have just completed a complete overhaul on the top end head gasket and all. Any suggestions as what could be causing this?
It had over heated and I had the head shaved to ensure a good flat head.

Cracked head or block. Did the shop who milled the head give specs about how much warpage was present?

You could try a leak down test. If there is a crack, you may hear it bubbling the coolant.

What about the engine oil cooler? Could it have went bad?

No specs. But I will try the leak down test. Thanks.

Oil cooler, maybe, but it would be pretty rare. Are you referring to the one the oil filter attes to?

Yes that is the one. When it had over heated it melted the knock sensor, so I was just wondering if it might have done something to the oil cooler too?

I have one in the shop that got that hot….so I'm replacing it with a JDM BP4w.
A lot better to invest in a much newer engine than hope to fix the old one.
plus if you can find a 6sp BP4w, it has some weird intake cam in it.
You'd likely need to remove that and send it to me. ;)

Doubtful, but if it was that hot, I'm surprised it didn't seize.

I'm surprised that it didn't either.
