I remember Emilio mentioning something about this. I thought he wrote 15s wouldn't clear, but I am not sure.

I was not there when we were just trying different wheels out on one, so I have no first hand experience. From what I overheard at the Mazda measuring session is that 15's won't even clear the rear brakes.

that sucks, I was hoping for some decent wheel / tire options in a 15" if they had made this with 15" we would have all our wheel / tire options back plus more!

Guess you couldn't tell us if that's actually related to wheel diameter or offset. Just wondering because I hear people say something won't clear brakes because of the offset way too often.

I dont mind 16" but 15 would have been ideal for me, and open up some new wheel options for us NA, NB guys.

I don't mind the size but when I buy one it will be either BBS or 6ULs in black. I love both designs a lot

15 is a dying size. I was shopping tires for my e30, then I looked at +1 and +2 sizes. There was a LOT more to choose from.

Looks like someone has a small brake kit in the works to allow 15" wheels to fit.
