1999 Anniversary Edition Miata Race Car Build - No Longer Available

1999 Anniversary Edition Miata Race Car Build

It?s a 1999 Anniversary Edition Miata. I purchased the car several years ago for $7,500 with the intention of converting it into a dedicated race car. To that end, the project is quite far along but, as often happens with car projects, my interest has have moved to other cars. The exterior remains largely the same as pictured except for different wheels and tires and a light weight hard top. Inside and underneath, it has changed dramatically. To give you a sense of magnitude, I have invested over $27,000 in new parts and I have the receipts as proof. All the parts are of the highest quality. There is no eBay junk associated with this build. Additionally, I have many hundreds of hours invested in the build. All the expensive and time consuming stuff is completed. If you are truly interested in this build, please email me and I will send you a complete list of the parts and current photos. Please, no tire kickers or photo collectors. The build is located in Dade City, FL. The price is absolutely firm at $25,000 and I am definitely not interested in any trades, nor will I part-out this build. Thank you for your consideration.

For a list of parts installed read the thread.

That's gorgeous, but can you put up a list of modifications to justify the price?

Yes, it is a turbo build, but not over the top. Expect about 230hp. Built as a dedicated race car; however, I do have a clean title and installation of a passenger seat is possible. Many custom items including full cage (Miata Cage with additions), custom chassis stiffeners, removable flat bottom etc. Custom 15.5 gallon Fuel Safe cell in stock tank location with dry break filler in trunk. Custom dash with complete compliment of gauges. Giant brakes, custom Dzus-on flat bottom, large rear defuser. Complete ISC suspension bushings including the monoballs where appropriate. ISC front sway bar. Miata Roadster frame rails. 949 racing 9x15 black wheels with R7 Hoosier 245 tires. Etc., etc., etc. The following is a list of new parts largely sourced new from Flyin' Miata, Miata Cage, Miata Roadster, Goodwin, Mazda Motorsports and ISC Racing, which totals $26,945.11. List does not include 100's of hours of labor; and incidentals, like aluminum, fasteners, etc., but does include shipping where applicable.
