    Question about SSR wheel caps.

I was wondering if star shark / long champ wheel caps are interchangable for the 4 x 114.3 and 4 x 100 wheels.

Also would anybody happen to know the measurements for the wheel caps for the 4 x 100?

most I can find is 72mm caps, I have 2 brand in box sets, one chrome set, one black set, (need a set?) but my center cap hole looks to be 60mm so I have some custom ones I found that I will see if I can make them "look" like the legit ones, just would have to see about a good paint and decal that wont fade.

I'll measure mine when I get a chance. Although they made a bunch of hub sizes for the mesh and similar it seems only 1 or 2 for the older style wheels.

I am in the market for a set of black (cone shaped) ones. Unfortunately I don't know the measurements of the centers.

    Thanks I would appreciate it!

Also, what lug nuts are you guys using? I was gonna run my watanabe lugs but I kind of wanted to run some SSR branded ones, just not sure if they made any 'security' locks or not.

Using gorilla slim locking lugs. I don't think SSR makes locks.

My 4x100 shark caps seem to measure exactly 2.5 inches. (63.5mm). I really need a micrometer. Editors note: There's at least 1/8" free play in the metal tip of my measuring tape. I try to get it as close to what I think is correct as possible, so +/-3mm

My caps are 64mm, which IIRC is a common hub size. Most of the 114.3 wheels I see have a 72mm hub but I can't say for sure that the caps are also 72mm because it looks like the center bore has 2 parts so they could be different sizes, outer part for the cap and inner for the hub. Unfortunately that means I didn't answer your original question.

Thank you guys for taking the time to measure the caps! It seems like they are the same size as the Watanabe caps for the Miata. I pretty much know what to look for now.

BTW, there were more than a few wheels that used that design, if you're getting repo stickers.

I believe that website is run by Ralph "Opossum Jenkins," who was the resident SSR expert of Honda-Tech, extremely helpful guy, I recommend you and Willis shoot them an email if you don't mind paying a bit more than YJA prices. He may have stuff not listed.

His FB has a 20% off coupon code too

Quality replacement stickers (and lips). Though, not quite stickers, because you'll have to use glue.

I'll be ordering a set of emblems from them soon. I got a set XR (longchamps) (63-64mm) center caps and I was pleasantly surprised that they were made out of some sort of metal, this whole time I thought they were like the Watanabe plastic caps. Very nice quality.

I'm hoping that they fit the wheels. I'm gonna feel bad to take off the Longchamp stickers if they fit =/.

I now have 3 sets of brand new SSR center caps, and none of them fit.

I'm selling them for what I paid for them in Japan. Not including shipping an broker fees.
