Gold would match the Mazdaspeed wheels, when I get them installed. Any opinions?
I would keep the windbreaker, I think that the speakers are a nice addition. You can remove and flip the brackets that bolt it on the car to make it work with the rollbar (or even make new ones). White would look funky, I think I would like it. Silver, not my taste with tan (I am looking on replacing my silver radio surround w. black atm) Also Mazdaspeed wheels, keep 'em, gold looks great with white IMO.

I would keep the bar black. That way it doesn't draw too much attention away from the rest of the car. And it goes with everything.

If we have time, they may go on tomorrow. Tires are nearing the wear bars, so they won't be on for too long.

Maddy picked up some new jewelry today. Found this very nicely weighted shift knob, and decided to give it a go. Looks pretty good and feels awesome. Now I just have to decide whether to brush it out, or to polish the handbrake...

I scored a fantastic deal on a set of Boss Frog "Frog Arms. Now to find the time to install them. Free weekends are getting scarce.

Also, I'm keeping my eyes out for a set of VERY short, and smaller outside diameter stel lugs for the Rays wheels. The stockers were too tall to fit under the lug cap. I spoke with Bill at Miataroadster regarding these, but he says that they are not optimal because they are aluminum. I also spoke with Rupewrecht regarding this, as he handles these wheels often. He told me that Project Kics makes a locking set that fit, called Bururokku 0611-19. Now if only I knew someone who could get them to the states for me.

Looking good man. As for those lug nuts you want, maybe drop a line to Rev9 and see what he can do for you.

Yeah. I have. Not quite ready to drop $97 on lug nuts though.

So, I did some experimenting and found a set of non-locking lugs that work with the Rays, as long as a thin-walled socket is used. My biggest problem is that the center cap covers are too tight of a fit. Thought we were going to destroy them when we pulled them off of the black car. I may need to find someone who could mill them down a millimeter or so, then have them re-coated. Or I'll just not run them.

While having the wheels off, I noticed that the rear pads are mostly gone. Guess those and tires will be the next things I will be getting car-wise. Also, closing up the wheel gap a little is going to be needed. Not sure I want to spend the money on a new set of coilovers any time soon though. That ass-end looks so much higher than the front, though...
