I would test drive cars with both of the mirrors, even if I had to beg a few of my friends to let me use their cars to make my decision, so it could be made on both form an function.

Having seen both mirrors in real life, side by side, i would have to say Zoom. Its a more functional mirror that flows better with the design of the Miata. (Me not beeing a huge fan of 60s style products in a 90s car).

Does the Zoom mirror come with the wide angle blue glass standard? I had considered going with the KGW mirror in the past, but I use a broadway wide-angle mirror, and wouldn't want to cover the aftermarket mirror. The Zoom mirror looks fantastic.

I'd go with the Zoom mirror myself. Good luck Randy!

KG Works for retro. Zoom if you want everything on your car to look like a round pill.

KG for a 93LE, but I'm not fond of the lack of day/night.
If you want a pill, get one from a PT cruiser, since they have map lights…….But no JDM Yo.

I thought the lack of day/night function would bother me with the KGW mirror, but it has surprisingly turned out to to be very rare that I get headlights behind me that really bother me. In fact, I'm more bothered by driving toward the sun late in the day than I am by headlights in my rearview mirror. If, however, your car is a DD that you have to drive at night, practicality may trump style. My '92 hasn't been a DD for almost 16 years, so I don't get the opportunity to grow tired of headlights in the rearview mirror. You'll have to judge such matters based on your own use and preferences or style vs. function. I think most who go with KGW, like myself, are placing style over function, but that's a personal decision you should make for yourself and not base it on the preferences of others. Be your own man and march to your own beat. Unless other people are helping to pay for your build and have some say, build whatever makes you excited about getting into your car and driving it. It may be entirely irrational, but enjoying how your car looks makes the driving experience that much more entertaining.

Only downside of using the KGWorks in my car the past couple days is that it gets dirty and greasy pretty easily. I have a clean microfiber cloth to clean it everytime I adjust it.

Is your mirror loose such that it moves and requires frequent adjusting? Maybe just tightening it would solve that issue?

No, it's really tight. I am changing driving positions regularly though, depending how I want to drive (I'm 1.90m -don't know in feet) and I have to adjust the angle.
