    My 1991 eunos j-ltd project.

Hi guys. most of you know my car.
but on request i thought id make a little pictorial list, so you guys know what i have done so far..
and when i finally get some ITB/CARBS will make for some interesting reading.

ive Had mx5s for a fair while now, got heavily disheartened when my 2004 model still under warranty rotted away at only 20k miles. so stayed away. bought other cars, namely Boxster-s, Bmw 330ci, And an Rx8.
But i ultimately missed the roadsters appeal, community, and jdm coolness.

so with that, i went through ownership of endless mk1's. until i found "The one".

The one ended up being a '91 J-ltd. It had been in the country for a year.
was rust free. and very tidy.
Was a crazy cheap price i could not refuse.
Here is a pic from when i got her..

    Yes thats me.. aha

Totally original. minus the BBS Replica Wheels. A Car Make Corns Exhaust And HKS Manifold.

Owner advertised the Exhaust as a "abarth" exhaust. as it had a Gallery Abarth Decal On the Back, Later turned out to be a Museum in japan.

Also Had GarageOHNO stickers stamped around alot.
Engine bay was immaculate, Long nose Crank Block, And a B660 Head, on removal of the manifold i found this to be port matched. so imagine some head work has been taken place at some time..

    Anyway, thats how it came.
so will get started with the changes.

Kept My Precious ARC Triangle Style Bar from My previous 5's
Love it alot and came across it accidentally. when a neighbor offered me a "junk Style Bar"
Was Expecting it to be the common chrome tat. but not this

also got rid of the wheels for some 3SDM wheels. which didnt really suit in my opinion

Quickly sold those wheels, Never been a fan of replicas.
then found a bargain set of 15x7 Watanabe wheels

Advertised on ebay as "vauxhall Drift wheels"
Already in garish yellow. Won those for £60 with tyres

The process and details are even better that the finished car. Looks like you scored a fair bit of sweet deals in the process! Especially the Capri cover and Watanabes...Keep the updates coming!

So, After the wheels (and the massive windows 10 update mid post GRR)
I decided to get some coilovers.
The Car was currently fitted with OEM Orange Option shocks and sway bars.
but they were way past best.

on previous cars i had Gaz gold Pro. but this time After all the hype and positive reviews
    I Settled on Some Meister-R Zeta-R

    Got Another Blinding deal,
Got them Fitted And Went for a Full Geometry Setup

    Car now handles awesome.

Treated her to some Red Leather Lotus Elise Seats

Ignore the goodies in the background ;)

Looked Sweet. But i still was not happy.

If you consider getting rid of the wheels only for twice as much as you paid, I am willing to take them off your hands! ;)

Soon After i had fitted the Seats i Felt my current steering wheel was too big
(Momo Race 350mm) So gave that to a friend and Purchased a OMP Trecento 300mm

Its a nice tidy wheel, But in honesty i wont be keeping it, as its not Japanese. aha

Nice to drive with, nice thumb grips etc. and space for my legs. perfect.

    Next up.
Was my Birthday, a Friend Imported me an Awesome Trim for my interior, By Car make Corns

And a Silca Ultralite Key Blank

It was late. Was bored. So We made a DIY Short Centre Console.
Cut and plastic Welded. And removed the window switches from the OEM PCB so they would fit into the new position.

(No measuring, No Plan, Just Wanted to see what would work)
Then This Was the finished product
