I got the stink eye from people at the local Mega Lo Mart loading a 40# sack of dog füd, a watermelon, and an apocalyptic toilet paper supply into the Miata. Philistines.

KFJ. I get that look, also, at my Mega-Lo. Armageddon sized amounts of TP and Paper towels loaded into a Miata does get observed. My passenger side seat is out right now. So it is a toss and speed off event.

What did you do to your NA today? 2016 version

There has been more than one occasion when I went there with SWMBO and forgot we arrived in that car. I have had to pack items on and around her to get them home.

Ok. So I get a package today at work that I didn't expect to see for 2 1/2 to 3 more weeks. GWR states that you need to give them 4 weeks lead-time on this. Ordered 5-6. Eleven days! Wow!

ADHD and OCD kick in full-tilt even with it monsoon season here in North Cackalaky.

Test fit and check. But in!

Marrad bucket. And it cradles. Wish I could have taken it for a spin. But I have to hit up Monarch tomorrow for a nut so I can mount my seat belt buckle and be legal.

Update on the test fit and check: Had to drop back and punt. OE seat belt buckle bolt is a shouldered/drop-down to 11mm 1.25 thread. A rare bird in my parts stores. And in my tub of weird stuff from strip-downs.

So we spec. the bolt to the hole in the Marrad bracket and 10.9 grade. Sleeve said bolt to the buckle bracket for a snug fit. And bolt it all in. With seat re-removal and re-reinstall I ran out of light to remove and take pictures tonight. And to test drive.

When I do the next removal of the Marrad I'll snap some shots and get more measurements. It will not be long. 'Skunk-works' gave me a ring the other day for some final details. Almost a kid-like pre-Christmas feel here.

Got an alignment for Betty Monday. Sadly I'm going to have to try again at another Firestone. To make a long story short, they were being difficult about having to work to non-factory numbers, which I had been told by another fellow wouldn't be a problem. And then things just got worse when I wanted them to correct things a bit since I had to immediately go back after leaving since the center line of the steering was off.

Sadly, the head service writer that was there that day was one of those typical service writers anyone with a moddified car hates dealing with. He went as far as spewing that old line of bullshit about my car having so many aftermarket parts on it being why they couldn't align it properly. Like, really? Never mind the fact I had already told them the alignment bolts, ball joints, and tie rod ends were all new OEM parts.

Loaded her trunk with bits and pieces just in case we are slow tomorrow at work. Fingers-crossed for slow!

I put something similar on the trans tunnel, under the car, along the route of the header and exhaust. It keeps the cabin noticeably cooler. No more hot foot for this LHD Miata.

with the exception of the undertray and fuel line cover in the trunk, got the Tein install done finally. trying to research where I went wrong, so i can adjust ride height properly, about a 1" difference. 3 corners at 13-13.4, and one at 12.5.
