HAHA! thank you very much. I do appreciate that. Still needs some touch up work. DIY door panels are coming unglued. Plans are in place to give it a bit more chrome/polished brightness over the winter.
Miata Roadster Short Shift kit polished is on order. Then Id like the RM Ignition cover. chrome handbrake button. Some brighter AC buttons and knob. Gauge Rings. And Id like to do the exact same steering wheel but with polished spokes. As well as S2k start button. We shall see how winter goes.

Sounds like some great parts! After doing the s2k start button(thanks to Adam aka Revlimiter's write up, still took like 3 hrs) and loving it but the Zoom Engineering is pnp and easily reversed...honestly te route i would have gone if i had known it was pnp. I might still add one just to fill a blank spot.

His write up is very good. My wiring skills, however, are not. I'd like to tackle it but I'm at the point in my life and with this car that a little bit more $ for pnp is worth all the trips to stores/finding parts online and then hassling trying to make something work; especially wiring. Barely wired up my makeshift 2-wire horn button lol
Was actually going to post asking about the GoMiata pnp s2000 button. Seeing if anyone has used that kit. I put my horn button in the only blank spot left in my dash so Zoom button may be out of question unless I move the horn button
I did order these last night....
Weren't exactly high priority but they're another item On my dream list. Feel like I need to make the door cards a little nicer and less bland.
I probably should not be left alone at night with my credit card...

Did a little engine bay sprucing. Enameled the valve cover and polished the RetroModern oil cap.

Yesterday morning I installed the Moss upgraded shifter rebuild kit. Such a great improvement
Sometime this week I'll do the new window bushings and clean the tracks, etc.

yep, stock shifter. Used the Moss kit w/ upgraded 5xRacing bushing.

Thanks! I love how they look. I explained it a bit in my build thread.
The ac dial and center button are press fit just like stock pieces. Need a bit of effort to get them seated properly but nothing major.
To get to the tiny phillips set screws in the slider knobs I had to remove the center tombstone, disconnect radio and hazard switch and move all that put of the way.
The slider knobs install were a different story. They didn't just slide on. I had to take sand paper to the ends of the slider bars so the knobs would fit. Very stressful as i didnt want to damage my revlimiter hvac panel. I sanded one nicely so i could reuse oem set screw. The other two i did enough sanding so they'd be tight with a few taps of a rubber mallet . Ill go back later when i have more time, mask off hvac panel and hit those sliders with the dremel so i can reuse oem set screws.
Not sure if Garage Star's test car's slider bars were a bit thinner than mine or if my pieces weren't machined with a large enough opening.
Hope this helps!
