Any one of photos of a comparison between audi TT boot and the Miata boot?

that looks good too! Decisions decisions...

Mr Greasemonkey: Are you running the TT boot over the OEM Mazda boot? Or the TT boot by itself? And the shifter you're running is a tall/angled MR bootless model?

TT boot over oem boot with a MR tall angled shifter. I THINK the bootless model only comes straight.

There's so many shifter options I get confused lol thank you for the photo and the info.

I'm trying to figure out what height shifter & which trim ring will look the best with no console. Not sure if stock height bootless w/o console will be at the height I want. first world problems.

Maybe I'll just start a thread for console-less shifter pics?

No worries, always more than happy to help when i can.

Contact Bill with Miata Roadster, I'm confident he can assist you in figuring out which of his shifters would meet your needs and probably even provide measurements if need be. A thread for consoleless setups would be useful I'm sure.

Well here are a couple items I luckily got for Christmas from my parents. They asked me what I wanted and I sent them links to these as a joke! Finally got a chance to upload them to imgur.

Project G Series 1.2 oil cap and dip stick.

These will help give the engine bay a little more class. Just placed an order for a domed oil cap insert from Revlimiter to match my Elanore nose badge, key chain, gauges etc lol

My dipstick handle isn't broken but this handle is so cool.

The plan is to have these items match my Garage Star slam panel (and cowl panel in the future), DDM works intake shield and cruise control relocation kit, then Moroso overflow tank eventually.

Well, I was bored on break at work. I saw in Instagram that RetroModern has opened up a Shop online to place orders. I had some money in my PayPal account that was burning a hole in my pocket. These factors end up with me ordering the cigarette lighter plug.

Wasn't really on my immediate goal list, but for just over $30, cant go wrong.

I apologize to everyone for my long winded posts but I enjoy telling stories (like most Miata owners) about the car, the parts and how I've acquired things.

Over the summer I was in England for a couple weeks for Reserve Annual Tour. I had gotten super lucky at a $1 store and picked up several certain special Hot Wheels Kenmeri Skylines. After posting them on IG, Adam was interested in one. We came to an agreement to trade the car and others for some items from his store. He came through big time.

I tossed out a long shot for a trade(+money on my end) for an oil cap w/ insert collab he did with Project-G. He politely explained it wasn't possible and I understood. He did however send me some amazing items that opened my eyes to his great "Elanore" logo theme parts. That light blue color and the RX2 font is just perfect so I am running with that vintage theme. It also opened my eyes to oil caps. After some thinking I decided to go the Project G oil cap route and grab some oil cap inserts from Adam separately. Got the oil cap for Christmas and I sent an email to Adam about inserts. We came to an agreement for these Elanore themed inserts. Cant wait to install them this spring! Also thinking about getting a new valve cover and have it powder coated that blue color.

Thanks again Adam! It's crazy how such small parts can have such interesting stories and meaning. I'm starting to understand how my father can remember and be so attached to the smallest things on his old Corvette. Makes me appreciate his stories that much more.
