I was kinda surprised how nice the Tungsten is. But I was very much a fan of Nickel on my current 15x8s.

    Cannot wait to install these.

Still waiting for any info from CarbonMiata about my flares being shipped.

The Miata community is seriously spoiled by Adam and his incredible customer service and shipping haha

I can recognise an 'o' and a 'shi' and that's my limitation.

Try the Google translate app on your phone. Won't be perfect but it might help.

Pretty sure Paul is being funny. The Zoom Engineering starter button is pnp, plugs into oem harness for the ignition the other side to the ignition...or that is my understanding.

Sorry, my sarcasm didn't show through. Yes, just being funny. It seems very simple, just a lot of symbols for what you just explained lol

Some more additions arrived yesterday and today for the cooling system.

GarageStar sandwich plate. This will go with my Autometer temp gauge and Revlimiter gauge cup for the crash pad.

Mishimoto radiator fan and shroud to go with the matching radiator thats already installed.

Tinkered with the Miata tonight. Felt good.

    Finished installing the Mishimoto fans.

While I was in there I removed the ac condenser and canister. Ac was removed last summer, just never got around the getting that shit out. That should bring more air directly to the rad and lower temps.

Eventually Id like to wire both fans up to a switch so I know when, how long they're working, and how well they work. Thats another day. Its all a little confusing to me now that the car has no ac.

The car was reaaaally low. Much Lower than Id like, but thats where it sat after I installed the Vmaxxs in November. Didnt have time to adjust them before winter storage. So now the frame rails made the lowest part even lower. They dragged in parts of the parking garage at work. Not good haha

Raised all four corners about 3/4" on each shock body. Will probably get raised more once flares and new wheels/tires are all on.

Test fitted the new wheels and shot some photos.
15x8 with 205 50 and the new 15x9..looks like I wont be reusing these. Seems like thered be too much stretch.

Rear with 15x9 and 19mm spacer

Rear with the 15x8 and 19 mm spacer

Front with 15x9 and 17mm spacer

So looking at fitment, I may not need a spacer. If i do, it wont be anything too extreme...maybe a 5 or 7mm.

Putting the 15x8 wheels back on and torquing them I broke a lug from my bolt on spacer. Good times. Those ebay spacers lasted me about 8 years. Guess its time to lose them for good. Plan was to get proper longer wheel studs anyway and appropriate spacers.

Stud was loose in the lug so i was able to spin it out and save the 949 lug.

Temp gauge install is next up.
