Motor mounts are definitely on my list. From insight here and what ive read, the MSM mounts are probably the way Ill go for mine. Thanks for the heads up!

No Palooza for me. Too much work, not enough vacation.

Would love to get to a major event one day and shake hands. I don't know when that will be though.

Aw, bring that 'cracker' car of yours to 'Palooza! You have to relieve stress some how.

For the time being kick Phat in the nuts to quit humping V-8's leg and get us a catering truck show-down at the same time as the gathering. See, win win! You come south get warm and fat and go home with parts you found while here.

I get to meet you. And take a bunch of shots because none of the food was diabetic-friendly. LOL

Well...saw that Moss had their performance sale ending tonight. Figured Id place an order since I wont have storage for the car for another week or so and this upcoming week looks like decent (no rain or snow). Itll give me a chance to install some stuff and fiddle with/enjoy the car a bit more.

    Ordered:
Garage Star AC knobs and dials
Hi flow grille (Hate that mouth being open like that)
Garage Star Wiper Cowl in wrinkle black

    Excited for new parts!

Next must obtain item: KG WORKS black Instrument panel

    Nice!

Hope winter comes late so there is more Miata during your Fall.
You and I might be in a bid war for the NA KG in black. But we both will win. I will not push your find.

    Just don't push mine, deal?

We both have to win. And if I win first I might give you a bargain if new research pans out.

Is there one on ebay or something? I almost ordered one tonight from RSpeed. Decided against it until some more funds come through.

Today I received a few things in the mail I ordered from Moss's sale.

First up: the GarageStar ac knob and slider set. This is a great set. My car has AC that I use occasionally during the summer so I got the set with the ac dial and separate button.

The buttons feel great in your hand and install easily. Good press on and youre good. The knurling and shine on them are perfect.

Installing the slider knobs was a chore. I thought they'd slide on and off like the stock pieces....nope. Seemed to me like the hole in the GS knobs were too small for sliders. Took some sandpaper and sanded done the end of the sliders to get them on. Had to be careful not to harm Revlimiter's ac panel. After all the sanding they were still not going on as easily as i thought they would. Needed more clearance. Got one on perfect with the set screw. The other two I tapped on with a rubber mallet. They were tight enough that set screw wasnt needed. When i have more time and patience I will spend more time, bust out dremel so they fit perfect with set screw. At that point ill try and polish them a bit more as they are a bit dull compared to the buttons next to it.

    Before:

    After:

    Ac Button pushed in:

    Ac button out(off):

Next installed item was the high flow grille. Had one on my previous miata. Never ran into heating/cooling issues with it when that car had intercooler and radiator. Felt like front mouth needed something to make it cleaner looking (excuse the bugs and grime) and im not a huge fan of the look of front tow hooks.

    Before:

    After:

Last item today was the Garage Star wiper cowl panel cover thing.

When I opened the hardware I noticed the included washers didnt match the Garage Star washers I already have in my engine bay. The screws were a bit smaller than the others but they should work fine.

    Included washer and bolt/screw:

Ended up going with this. The Garage Star Dress up washers with included screw:

    Here it is installed:

And then I wanted to ride my bike. I also wanted to drive the Miata

Does the a/c button pop out on your setup? I had to wrap mine in a thin layer of double sided tape on the backside to stop that. But I recall one kit had a set screw, does yours have the set screw?

Funny you ask. When i first installed them my ac button was popping off. I went to tool box and got some clear silicone in hopes of stopping that.

    No set screw on mine

Before i put the silicone on I double checked the larger outer dial and pressed that in as hard as I could. It seemed to really seat in and lock in better than before. I then pushed the center button on and pressed that on as far as I could. Seemed to press in better and more solid. And that solved it. No silicone needed.

Phat did you have issues with the slider knobs??

I had the same issue. I then pushed the outer dial harder, and then pushed the AC button as far as it would go, and everything snapped in place

    MiataRoadster shifter kit.

    Polished. Bootless.

Asked Bill to shorten it 2" from the tall height. After I placed the order for stock height Kit I realized a shifter thats a bit taller than stock would look and feel better. The 4" taller than stock wouldnt look as good IMO in my car as I dont use the console.

Car is in storage until April or so.

The realistic plans for 2017: (copied from the other thread)

Take my son for his first Miata ride!!!! He'll be 2 in March so this summer will be perfect IMO.

-Install MR Short shifter ..drive drive drive and drive more
-Re-cover door panels & install LE speaker covers
    -NA8 Seat belt recievers
    -FM Shock tower Brace
    -Corns shift knob
    -KG Works Gauge Panel
    -revlimiter HVAC plate
    -RetroModern ignition cover
    -Rev 9 Pedals
-Trade my Nardi wheel for one with polished spokes
-Frame rails / maybe butterfly brace
    -Valve cover powder coat change
-New coilovers w/ rear endlinks (maybe rear sway)
    -radiator
    -clutch & fly wheel
-replace GS rad panel for a wrinkle black one.

The "if those get done and Im feeling wild plans":
    15x9 or 15x10 6UL
    Fender flares

Id also like to start prep for turbo in 2018 (ie: save money)
