As usual. As soon as I step out the door I get wrangled by a neighbor. "Hey Rick. You got a rope?"
Well long story short the neighbor had a truck stuck and the Workhorse was called into action.

Then the diagonal neighbor came over and he and I BS too much... So nothing else accomplished Saturday.

Today I slept in too long but awoke to beautiful weather. Thanks Chad for sending some warmth up.

After a nice drive to continue the breaking in of the engine mounts (that's my excuse and I'll stick to it!) it was warm enough to install these.

Randy didn't tell me how much horsepower gains I would get with each. But I'm guessing 25-30 per?

So now if y'all see the Workhorse or Noir you'll know it's me.

Almost warm enough for me to pull interior parts and get ready for the rails, frog arm, strut bar and diff. mount install.

Yes "cats" do taste like chicken lol

    Same with snake, squirrels, frogs.....

Growing up in the farm you will never know what my drunk Uncles would be up to lol

Ah stiffening Noir for power? Reminds me to install mine if I can get some of Chad's energy.....

So. I was a slacker today! Used another one of my carry-over vaca. days from 2015.

Once I got going this morning I did some more required engine mount break-in driving. Still my story, damnit! And while having the giggles in a roundabout a BRG hardtop tailed me. Me to turn lane, he passes, me in pursuit. Que 8-track banjo music.

Caught him at the light and complimented his ride. He did the same. We're both older guys. Told him to hit up Mazdaroadster.net and look for NCG, that's me. Cool guy and NICE sounding exhaust!

Anywho. Time to head home and wouldn't you know it my BS'ing neighbor is home. Called him and volunteered him to help me get the hardtop inside the house being there are some awkward turns to get it to the guest room.

    Alright pervs.. Noir topless!

So here I am digging into this pull it all for the rails and stuff. And I am still puzzled by these two switches. If any of y'all have a clue let me know.

    Still not sure.

    On to the fun stuff.

    Trashed...

Like most only part was found...

    Sexy and clean...

    Refilled with Royal Purple.

    Sexy, sexy all-night long!!!

While I had the chance I did some more removing...

Not too bad to be 21 yrs. old. And got rid of the style-bar Slinky and reinstalled the factory B-pillar brace till I get a cage.

While typing up the updates for y'all I heard a noise. Wouldn't you know it. Raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock here. Hope the soft-top is OK.

Ok, I had one of those non-intelligent moments now.

Break in the rain. Run out with my spotlight to see if any leaks. Sit in Driver's seat. Door open and one leg out. No leaks but pants and shirt wet from runoff where my ass hit the seat and lowered that side of the car. Karma is a bitch!

This build is not dead! I warned y'all it would be slow. But I have parts to install and might have parts to be shipped. The shipped one has me all giddy! I want to be at 'Palooza with my feathers up and having fun!

Chad (GMK2K) you gonna make the trip east? If so what size wrenches do I need to remove those tails???

Nothing wrong with slow but steady. I'm planning on going to Florida next year for 'Palooza, time will tell. I might have to go ahead and have the panel blended in before then.

Ok, time is a blur for me right now.But I have to share a pic. to remind y'all that 'Noir' is evolving. Thanks to Hammerhead for his patience and communication. I got this tid-bit today. Sans 'Dunlop' sticker now.

And the test fit when delivered.

Now time for bed then work. And I'll fill ya'll in later on the rest... Sorry

Ok GM2K 'Noir' is in limbo. I cannot add stiffing weight until I get her some suspension. On the bump-stops would not do well for a bend in the twists and the arse gets happy. So, filed and sent taxes today. Hmmmm. CO here I come, hopefully! Malooza!

Still in limbo until the Feal 441's arrive. but just so y'all know that Noir has apparel arriving...

E-bay for the wear items like R-lips. For now. The HT spoiler has me befuddled on fitment. So more research. But the seat-belt extenders. Thanks Aaron! Peace bro!

So ready to add a little weight to my go-kart but waiting to get her arse off the ground. Weight before reduction. Sigh!
