Thanks!
I certainly have given some thought to covering the complete dash, I am starting small. I am planning on the column surround, door handles and headlining next, and have always wanted seat cover too.

I got back from Tokyo a few days ago, my wife and I were there for a week this time. This holiday was a joint celebration of our first wedding anniversary and my 30th birthday later in the month. Last time we went to Japan we didn't get to spend much time in Tokyo, so we had lots to go back and do and see. Never underestimate how busy Tokyo is though, we stayed near Yoyogi station and a 5 minute walk from Shinjuku station, a week in Tokyo is very tiring.
We had a lot to fit into this week, on the first day after landing at 8am from a 12 hour flight and the tally now up to 26 hours awake, we meet up with a British/American couple friend of ours for some ramen. On the second day we headed out to Edogawa to visit my favourite Tom's at Car Make Corn's.
It was so nice to visit Car Make Corn's again, I chat to Tomoyo san most weeks over email. Walking down the road from the station and the famous shop front coming in to view was wonderful. We were greeted by a very smily Tomoyo san in her shop and she had lots of gifts for us both in a big bag.
I also got to see the carbon hand painted sign I made them a year ago.
I had made some carbon fibre sill trims for them and hand painted on the new Corn’s logo, these wouldn’t fit in my suit case, so had to be wrapped up and carried on as hand luggage, and it was a little challenging getting them through customs at both ends. But it was worth it and they got fitted to the demo car there straight away, which also has carbon vent rings, cam pulley cover, and slam panel that I have made too.
We chatted for a while and was shown around the work shop, exchanged gifts, including a pair Corn’s jumpers, leather gear knob and key ring.

Thanks Ben. Enjoyed following the pics on IG but thanks for sharing some more of your journey here. Looks like another great trip to Japan. Need to get back there soon myself..

I was given quite a special present this year for Christmas.
My friend / business partner made me a model of my car, it took him around 2 months of work and managed to keep it a secret from me the whole time. I was blown away opening this on Christmas day. It is based on a Tamiya 1:24 MX5 model but has lots of modifications to look like my car, the more I looked the more pieces I saw.
Needless to say it will be taking pride of place in my office, I have now got a little display case for it too.

In my continued efforts to modernise my interior I have been fitting a few new parts.
First up was a GoLuk T1 dash cam, I fitted this a few months ago after looking into them for ages. The longer I have owned my Eunos the more worried I have become about driving it, you see so much bad driving around and I would hate anything to happen to my car.
I wanted a good one, but also one that didnt look really out of place on the inside of my car, most of the better ones I found were larger and had a screen on the back of them. I settled on the GoLuk brand as they look smart and have excellent reviews, they also have a good IOS app to set them up. This particular one is the best of the range, the recording is great in daylight and at night, it also has a G sensor so will record if the car is knocked into when parked, as well as a motion sensor that you can set up to record anyone walking around the car.
I spent a lot of time wiring it in perfectly, its been hardwired in to a constant live and all the wiring hidden across the top of the windscreen and down the A pillar. The camera itself is meant to be mounted to the window, but I found it fitted perfectly on the back of my KG Works mirror, and you cant see it at all when driving.
Next up, a Pioneer SPH-DA120 head unit. Again I have been looking at these for many years and always thought it would look perfect in my Eunos. I really like the simplicity of these, and looks like its meant to be there. You can match the lighting colour to the OEM and fitting it was a breeze.
There was a lot of wiring to hide but all went well. There is a GPS sensor that I hid under the gauge hood behind the gauges on a tiny space that was perfect for it. Then a microphone that I hid down the side of the steering column. The cable for the iPhone connection comes out of the Mazdaspeed knee rest, so that when its not being used the cable goes back into the pocket that is generally too small to use for anything else. Also I programmed it to have an Eunos logo when it powers up, the coolest.
I also fitted my Corns leather gear knob and the carbon sill trims I made, the interior is really getting there now, a few more Nakamae pieces and I think it will be just right.

Amazing how well the head unit blends in; gotta love how non-offensive it is.

I had a nice little parcel from Flyin' Miata a few days ago, a set of their front brackets for the LBBK.
I have been chatting to them and they were kind enough to just sell me the brackets and hardware, as I can source the callipers and hoses in the UK for a little cheaper than having them posted over from the US.
I am really looking forward to having so good brakes

This week has been awesome for parcels at my house.
First up was a Corn's circuit type bucket seat. Such a beautiful item, I have had my eye on one of these for a few years. I have visited them twice and sat in one both times and debated whether I could get one on the plane home, but never had the balls to turn up to Narita Airport with a bucket seat as luggage. After lots of organising I managed to have one posted over.
Its actually to go in my Classic Mini, but had to show you all.
Next up is a set of Work Emotion CR Ultimate Kiwami in Ashed Titan Bronze, again I have been looking at a these for a while and needed a set of wheels to use on my Eunos over the winter months.
Time to get the car all tarted up again and take some pictures I think!

what size are the wheels? they look sharp!!
that seat is super sexy looking too!
I know they are 15x8; however I don't know the offset. It is either +20 or +5 and I think they are the +5 version.
The wheels are 15x8 +5 you are correct, but the wheel design is exactly the same for the +20's just they are machined differently.
I am hoping to be able to fit a 205 profile tyre on these without it rubbing on the arches. These wheels will sit 8mm further inboard than my Equips, so should be just enough room.
Love the dark stitching on the corn's seat. I just finished installing the second one in my car and they're great.
