You think you could measure the Zoom Engineering side marker lights diameter for me, please? I have a set of oem type from IL Motorsports installed right now and want to make sure the base on the Zoom set would cover the hole w/o issue before buying a set.
Hey the hole diameter is 36mm and the outside diameter of the unit is 50mm.

Today I fitted my Suzuki washer bottle, it was slightly trickier than normal because of being RHD, there seems to be only be a small area that it will fit nicely, clearing the arm mechanism and sitting low enough to clear my carbon fibre scuttle panel.

I have seen other peoples way of mounting them and didn't really like the idea of drilling holes in the bulkhead. So I knocked up some carbon brackets, using 90 degree angle and some flat pieces, I then had some M5 studs left over from a job, that I bonded on to the carbon using a structural adhesive. Doing it this way meant I can bolt it down using the same M5 bolts that attach the carbon scuttle panel, so the fixings are shared.

I did some soldering and extended the pump wiring to the other side of the engine bay, plugged it in and YAY, windscreen washer work again! Its been a while!

I have made a new carbon fibre scuttle panel that will be polished tomorrow and fitted to cover everything up again too.

For any one thinking of getting one of these bottles, do it. They are brilliant, the fit is shockingly perfect, and clipping your Mazda pump into the Suzuki bottle feels brilliant.

I have 2 more parcels on there way from Japan at the moment, and one from Retro Modern in the US

    Tail lights are on!

Wow, seriously hard work, the new kits come with some covers to go inside the boot to seal the light aperture, and rivnuts on the plates that go on the outside. Unfortunately 2 of the rivnuts clash with the panel and mean that it won't fit properly. I removed the nuts and bonded on a bolt instead, this fixed the clearance issue.

Then there was the issue of once you had assembled and bolted on the 4 plates and seal you couldn't then fit the plug from the back of the light units through the hole in the new covers.

Any way I found away around it and fitted the panel and it looks brilliant, I love the new look of the back of the car.

It has rained here for the last few days since fitting them and there is a little water in my boot now, so the replacement light aperture seals are leaking, so the panel needs to come off again!

Well I have wanted one of these for quite some time now, since the exterior of the car is pretty much as I want it now, it was time.

I had another parcel arrive from the very kind Tomoyo san at Car Make Corn's. There was pieces for the Eunos and for my Mini project.

Some RS Products machine finished needle caps, they are lovely. I fitted the small three and then worked out that the larger two only had one slot in them, so you are meant to trim off the little extra needle that sticks out of one side of the cap. I didn't really like the look of the shorter needle, so I trimmed an extra slot in the new caps to fit as standard.

Where shall I put the Corn's plaque?

Also some Runabout mirrors for my Classic Mini, they are similar to their M2 mirrors but with different bases.
