Seats came in today, looks like I'll be installing them tomorrow

Just realized I can join this thread
This year... it was stripes and lip.
I do have a SINGLE sidemarker - bought 1 thinking I bought 1 pair... ...so I'll get the other one, one of these days.

Love that color combo!
I need it to stop being cold and rainy, so that I can clean up the bay, and figure out what to do with the coolant tank. Right now, it's just wedged in place. I think that i want a reservoir similar in size and shape to the Power steering one, since they'll both be on the same side of the bay. Or I'll mount it in the driver's bumper hole, like everyone else.

Nice seats Airbrush1. I can imagine it eliminates lateral movement during hard cornering? You now need an aggressive alignment lol.

I need an alignment anyway! They're surprisingly comfy considering my 38" waist. They recommend that your waist size be no larger than 34" for these (I guess I have a narrow ass lol)

And perhaps my belly!

So, yeah, this has been the first dry day in what seems like weeks. So far, no issues with the AutoEXE intake. Wedging the coolant bottle behind the passenger headlight and power steering reservoir has not given any issues, yet. I'll rock it this way until a more attractive solution comes along.
Still have not installed the new edging, or found a color-appropriate coupler, but it'll happen.

What holds the AutoExe filter housing to the body? Is there a way for outside air to go thru on that side? I always wonder why factory had to cross over the filter on the other side. But it looks very nice.

It just sits/wedges in place. It's not big or heavy, so the coupler clamp is enough. The cooler air flows from around the passenger headlight, and up from the bumper "well". I'm sure there would be a way to guide fresh air, but I am not sure that it is needed. The longer intake tube (Stock) provides less intake noise (resonance) and supposedly spreads the power across the band more evenly. There are many who say a shorter intake like this one could actually rob high-end power. This obviously comes with the trade of higher intake temps, due to the proximity of the radiator, and the location of the filter (beside/above the ex mani.
But I'm not a scientist. Neither am I trying to eke every last drop of power out of my car. I like the design, and it isn't damaging to the car, so that's my justification. Also, that I got it in a trade is also a bonus!
Also, look how barren the driver's side is, by comparison. It's pretty odd.
It looks great Tony! Wish my engine bay was so clean. For reasons, all Greek NB2s have the aircon drier on the passenger side of the engine bay, right where your intake lies right now, extremely irritating.
I was away for the weekend, and do not have a closed garage, so today I woke up to this:
Usual phenomenon here during spring, pollen and (mostly) Sahara dust travelling across the Mediterranean with southern winds. Could not wait to finish work and give the car a wash!
In other news, I finished the CAD files for the Nexus bezel/trim. Those will be 3D printed, so I figured I could share the files for anyone willing to go down that path on an NB/NB2. Started a new thread here!
Wow, that's some serious dust!
