I think it looks really good. Though I was kind of hoping for a coupe or maybe even see a HT design for the convertible.

I like it, the shape of the NC prht was always a bit awkward to me in its up position, but this looks great.
I'm sure somebody is already thinking about how to strip out all the mechanicals and weld the seams to make one into a hardtop coupe.

Hopefully that top is carbon fiber.

Although I knew it wasn't going to be, I was still hoping it'd be a real fastback. The targa MR2 looking "fastback" isn't doing it for me.

I think it's one of the most beautiful cars Mazda ever produced (not THE most beautiful -see Cosmo). Now they need to stuff a compressor in there, uprated suspension, chassis rigidity, and piss all over fiat's new roadster.

I can't deny that isn't a thing of absolute beauty and even love the new paint/ interior combo (despite the fact its not a big departure from the ND's limited color pallet ;). I just wish Mazda would offer a screen delete option and a manual version of this top to save on the extra weight.

Chassis rigidity is most probably gonna be more than OK, especially if you compare it to NAs or NBs. Would love to see a supercharged 1.5 tho.

YES! Also the side profile of the rear "quarter" windows? Hmmm...too GT86ish for me. I also have doubts over the weight and CoG height increase. Guess I cannot have everything my way!

    Photoshopped as a fixed-top coupe.

This car looks like a Datsun 240Z with a retractable Targa Top. I honestly prefer fixed-top coupe.
