    The Stormtrooper

Just thought i'd share my other car. Purchased this car back in 2010 from the VW dealerships. This has been my daily driver for the past 5 years or so and in that time, it's been slowly modded and it's now reached a point where I'm almost finished and happy with it. I don't want to say "complete" because let's face it as car guys, we're NEVER finished with our cars, right?

Anyway, here she is. My 2010 VW Golf R in Candy White, AKA "The Stormtrooper".

Gorgeous Golf, Steve! I love German automobiles because they are typically detuned so much from the factory that they can easily have power extracted. Geez it is purdy!

Cheers thanks mate! Yeah Ze Chermans do know how to make a good quality car I must say. The fit and finish is very nice and the interior is a nice place to be. Few bolt on mods and It's a low-mid 12 second car. The newer Golf R's with just a Stage 1 reflash ECU tune and nothing else are going down the quarter mile in the high 11's! Crazy!

Yeah I gotta say, it's a car that does everything very well! It's comfortable, practical, reliable, has a big boot with folding rear seats, it's safe with driver/passenger airbags as well as for your knees and curtain airbag for the sides, it's fast, fit and finish quality of everything is excellent and there is loads of aftermarket support.

It really is a very good daily driver for the person who is looking for 1 car to do it all.

In saying that, ever since I got my MX5, it rarely gets driven these days. I'm still having way too much fun every time I drive it
