I'd like them but no way would i pay $600/pair. Maybe a third or so of that figure.

I'd love a set at nearly any price. I expect to pay $1000 or a little north.

That is the price I would think would come with a set like a '67 Camero or '75 Chevy Luv sported. But I so want them.

The security issue is why most car companies went away from vents. Pocket knife and "walla" you have entry point.

Chad, you paid $xxx for retina melting LED tails and wouldn't cough up a $K for vents from a '76 K-10???

Might have to get up with Tommy and Martha. They might be albe to help in this. Really!

They do Cobra parts on top of cages and roll bars.

Phone call needs to be made to plant the seed...

@NCGreasemonkey: Rick, I received an AWESOME deal on said 'retina melting LED tails', so that isn't even a comparison even to what i said i would be willing to pay for the traditional style vent windows.

I guess I can't see them costing that much to produce when every American car company used them for decades on various vehicles, granted they were produced in huge quantities. I still stick to my original 'low ball' price i personally would be willing to pay...maybe a little more.

It would be so stylish and safer to have the ones like one of my past rides had. It had the push-lock in the center of the pivot-lock so the pocket knife trick didn't work. I think that was on my '70 LeSaber. Oh, the times that were had in that land-yacht!!! But might have been in the '76 K-10. Old age is a bitch when you have run thru as many cars...

I know for a fact it was not on my '94 CBR-600 F3! Even an old man can remember that. LOL

$5-600 a set seams reasonable, then again so does around $1k. I don't think I could justify the thousand dollar price tag for a set though.

I think the hard part of the design is that the actual installation would be labor intensive. There's not much material to work with regarding that sail window surround. If you search images for how the originals were made, the entire sail window, and the support frame would have to be replaced. I'm also certain that the door itself would need trimming, and possibly some welding.

Any new design would have to integrate into the existing hole for glass, which can be replaced without much more than quite a bit of labor

From KG or Nielex I'd expect around $1000 and be willing to pay that. I assume Marc could do it a couple $100 cheaper if he were going to make them.

For that much, the windows would come attached to a variety of 60's American cars.

The market for the product is pretty small. The NA is pretty much a clapped out ricemobile or track car market at this point.
