Yes we just decided to make the product as it should be done. Meaning that the frame and fittings will be aluminum whereas the window will be real glass (tinted as an option) and the seal will be the exact replica of the OEM seal. So we need more time but it will be worth it.

Well a better product is always good I was glad there was going to be a 'budget' option with the acrylic but if the metal/glass option being the only option may mean you can get better pricing on units? Either way excited to see it progress and hopeful for a good price point!

Oops sorry I didn't see your message! Well the mold for the aluminum frame is started, I found a supplier for the glass so it's all good!

For the acrylic version we did 4 versions already but I am not satisfied with the locking system so we are trying something new. It definitely takes much more time than what I thought but well we will try to release it before the end of the year!

Final update for the NA/NB quarter window vents before the release! This is the final design(except the color), we sent to a fellow Miata owner for testing. Once he confirms it's perfect, we will do the mass production. They are entirely made with PC and will be available in black to match the black door frame or silver for a vintage look (frame and stainless steel locking mechanism). More pictures and details soon!

The price of that PC version will be 199 USD a pair + shipping. The aluminum + glass version will be around 399 I believe and will be released next year.

    That looks AWESOME!

Will you still have the two versions, [1] the forward end opens outwards (as shown above) and [2] the forwards end opens inwards?
