Needed more gauges in my life. I like how the smith gauges match the warbird.
    Picked them up here http://www.europaspares.com/smiths-f...gue-clock.html

They need a better place to live...so pulling the passenger crash pad was in my future

Thanks to Adam and a lot of inspiration from all the outstanding cars here on Mazda Roadster Mandrake is coming a long nicely.

These side mirrors reminded me of my Spitfire but don't tell Mandrake I had another sports car before him.

They have reasonable prices even after converting to American Pesos and shipping to the good ol USofA.

MX5Roadsters.net TSI's and gauge pods. Looks like his web sight is down but you can find him on Facebook

The TSI's came with small bulbs common on motorcycles. I replaced with them with LED's

You cant see out the back because I had the hard top window tinted the darkest tint 3M had. I told the guy I wanted to go dark. He said how dark, I said Batman dark, turns out that's too dark.

Last fall it was time for mods (way too hot in summer around here)
I had the door card off to install the 1/4 window vent and the side morror.
Found out paint thinner works like a charm on that La Brea tar pit stuff Mazda used to fix the plastic to the door.

Carbon Miata panel was a little fiddly to install but I took my time and I very happy with the result.

After I had it mocked up I took it back off and had it painted.
I had it done in the original Miata red. Buffed out the bumper and it all matches very close.

3M Marine Vinyl Cleaner, Conditioner, Protector. This stuff is simply fantastic!!! My top is original to the car, the window was cracked and yellow, but the rest of the top was in good shape all be it faded.
I put this 3M product on about six months ago. I haven't done anything to it since.

Leaves no film, doesn't attract dust.

OK now I feel like an Amway salesman.

So we are almost up to date with what I've done so far. But now I need your help. I've been saving to upgrade the suspension and now I'm ready to bite.
Mandrake sees mostly street use with the occasional track day. Here's what I've narrowed it down to.

    TEIN-FLEX Z Coil-over Kit for the Mazda Miata and MX5 90-15

    Or

FM V-MAXX XXTREME COILOVERS FOR NA - SPORT PACKAGE

Anyone have experience with both these coil-overs? What are your thoughts?
