Wanted! Trim for rear edge of hardtop! Frankenstein bolts!

I'm re-doing my hardtop, I've already ordered a rear window outer seal, and some garagestar brackets to attach it to the car securely in the front and sides. When I (very carefully I might add) disassembled the top to prep it for paint/hydrodipping, the edge protector on the rear ripped enough that I refuse to reuse it I've looked at only one sponsor site so far, and holy crap that piece is expensive!!!!

If anyone has one laying around, or an alternative to it in mind, I'd love to either purchase it, or hear your solution. I'm also looking for a set of Frankenstein bolts if anyone has some laying around!

    Thanks much!

I would personally leave it out. If the HT is freshly painted, the edge should be nice, and IMO it looks better without the trim. MIght be easier to chip during installation/removal though.

you can buy edge trimming through McMaster-Carr, that would probably work well. not sure what size you'd need though.

You could probably use off-the-shelf door edge protector. Comes in a roll, various colors, most autoparts shops carry it.
