Not sure if this plays or not but worth a try. Same guy, now experimenting with a targa fastback prototype.

I want that! Keep this cross-ponder updated on if they go production. That is one nice looking bonnet.

1st "production" targa-fastback sold to a guy on the local forums.

    Pics:

Bonus pints; the targa part of the roof folds in half for easy storage in the boot.

I guess these brackets are there to support the weight of the rear hatch.

    Owners' video, trunk release. Impressed.

As much as I like the features, I still consider the Lightyear fastback one of the best looking ones out there. Word has it that he's starting production soon. Let's see!

FOLDING targa fastback. The fact that the removable part folds and can be stored in the trunk is awesome. Quarter windows and visibility bug me, but what I guess will keep me away is fitment. Although his work is heaps better than anything I have seen, I consider the fitment of the OEM hardtop barely OK, and I cannot reasonably expect any aftermarket fiberglass piece to be better. A shame really 'cause the guy that builds these is a 20' drive from where I live.

Talked with the guy today. He is not really tech savvy and his English are not the best, which makes communication a pain for non-Greeks. However he is willing to ship overseas if needed; need to find a sensible/economic way to ship to US still. Europe is far easier, cause road freight is a common thing, especially to Germany and UK.

Looking really nice so far, 1000% better looking than any of the US based fastbacks IMHO

I like the functional hatch and removable targa section. Buutt... I hate the shape of the windows.

the functionality of the hatch is what makes it so much better than the current stuff. but i agree the corner window shape is a bit odd.
