Worst luck! 3rd collision in 1 year, while parked!

Hey guys, been a while since I have been active in the community but I am itching to get back into it. Unfortunately, I have been driving my car more and took itnto work where it was promptly backed in to. Here are a few pics of the damage.

Any guess as to what it might cost to repair? The paint is not original, so matching won't be the easiest. I received an estimate of ~$1600. Does this sound right? I am thinking about just having the car repainted entirely, how much does that typically run?

Anyways, good to be back, even with a boo boo.20161021_125459.jpg20161021_125805.jpg

That stinks, sorry to here. You probably will have to take it to a small mom & pop repair shop, if you take it to a dealer shop they will charge you $2000 since that fender is part of the car. But it really doesn't look too bad.

Thats ridiculous, thats an easy fix and looks like there's blend room.
You may even look into PDR for that.

Respray will depend on color and if its a color change.

Thanks for the condolences. I have really had the worst luck this year. Poor car..

First a truck ramped the front end, requiring a bumper and hood replacement along with some other issues I am still dealing with.. Looks like a tubular front end might be coming my way.
Then some punk smashes my window for no reason (doors were still locked, window was only partially smashed, hardtop bolts untouched.
    Then this!

It will take a lot for me to consider the car totaled.

Well, luckily you got all three out of the way early so you're lucky it happened before putting in a bunch of money. Now you're good for twenty years.

I have about 4 years and probably $10,000 put into the car in maintenance and upgrades. If I didnt have so much installed, I would just find a different miata.
