I just realized that between three of the last 4 people who posted items they've gotten there are a dozen key blanks. Are we all crazy or what? Most people don't even have a second key

I think you are all crazy for spending that much on a key. Yeah, I said it.

+1 I'm with Martin on that one

I've still got the original key and ID tag Turns out mine was a 1st run and the 949th car made o.O

To think I've changed things on it....
You want a good car. I want a good miata.

We're eccentric, not crazy. It's not like we're swapping in rotories.

I purchased this Hard Tonneau Cover locally.
From my internet searches I think it is a Rod Millen Motorsports cover. It has RMM19 molded into the cover.

Unfortunately my NA Miata is still away having the Ecotec engine installed so I could not check how it fits or how it looks.
I will have a rollbar in the future, so that could be a challenge to integrate the two while still having the Tonneau Cover as removable.

With my Project G Bikini convertible top it could create similar design cues as a Porsche Boxster Spyder.

I wanted to give a shout out to Ken at Retromodern. I've been looking for a discontinued piece for awhile and it never showed up anywhere online. In a last ditch attempt, I contacted Ken to see how rare the unicorn was (only 40 produced) and to see if any were left. He had the piece I was after and we were able to strike a deal. I'm the proud owner of one of the knurled fan knobs for a non-AC car. It is now installed and looks great! Thanks again, Ken! You and your products rock!

Special delivery : RS Watanabe valve stems from the man himself, Mr Toshiyuki Watanabe! (well, I bought it off the guy who got it from him hahaha! Personally delivered to him at Tokyo AutoSalon 2014 by Mr Watanabe's son who now runs RS-Watanabe). Definitely keen to visit when I go to Japan next year!

    Just some oil and filters.

Wal-Mart had what I like to use for only $3 a quart, and I found a 6 pack of M1-108 filters for $44 on ebay.

By the way, that Mobil Super 10w40 is hard to come by. Everyone has stopped carrying it in store. I believe it may have been discontinued. Last time I searched for it locally I even had a few "experienced" parts guy not know that Mobil 1 made conventional oil.

And before ya ask why the 10w40, to reduce oil consumption, keep lifter tick silent, and prevent hot lifter tick (that'll put a damper on spirited mountain driving real quick). I've tried a few oils, this is what works best for Betty.

Anyways, should be good for at least 18k miles now.
