Also, I apologize for being a greedy bastard snatching up all the silver Pole Positions. 1 is for Betty, 1 is a back up, 1 is for a future build just in case.

The Queens key is for Betty too, for special occasions.
So, you're the onw who got them before me! I got 2 of the black Pole Position keys. They arrived Tuesday and I had them cut on Wednesday.

I plan to have mine cut after I pick up another basic OEM Mazda key, and have whoever I have the Royal Clovers cut by, cut that 1st to make sure what they cut works smoothly with Betty. Want to reduce the risk of a poor cut as much as possible.

From my understanding, you can have the key cut by VIN at the dealership so you have a 1st generation key, and arent copying an already worn key.

Defintiely do, but I'd still cut a generic key first JUST to be sure.

Least let us not forget that key tumblers wear out just as much as keys wear out. Might be a great time to replace lock assembly and other tumblers so keys still match all tumblers on an older Miata when cutting the hard to replace keys.

My locksmith cut 'new' keys for me when I brought the ignition cylinder to him after I broke off an original key in it. He cut it using an original spare which was also cracked. He then made sure the new keys worked smoothly in the old ignition cylinder.

When I took the Pole Position keys to him, he used the 'new' key to cut them. They worked great!

    1) A few blank keys. Currently I'm using a silver pole position I bought a while ago from Rev9 as my main key and keeping the gray one one here as a back up along with the rest.

    2) Fujitsubo Legalis R catback exhaust. En route from Japan. Thought about a Corns Ver II but after hearing them, I think the Fujitsubo will better suit my needs more. Plus it's a subtle note, not too over the top which is what I wanted. (Photo from boomplustoys)

    3) Maxim Works 4-2-1 exhaust manifold. Thinking whether I should keep it polished or whether I should get it ceramic coated and put heat wrap over it?

    4) Nakamae Aluminium interior door handles. Full replacement units. I think these have now been discontinued, not too sure. (Photo from Rev9)

    Still to come :
    - Maruha sports catalytic converter
    - Flyin' Miata frame rails
    - Mazdaspeed suspension bushings

I managed to chear two welded nuts off the front subframe whilst trying to remove the steering rack for some routine clean up didn't I, f*ck sake

Gonna have to limp the car to a dealer.....

There's always something with a 27yr old car - and it's usually a seized bolt.
You want a good car. I want a good miata.
